Good Morning!

Hello

I have been very quiet on this blog, yesterday I had my psychology exam and I think I did pretty well.  Once the results for this come in I can apply officially to be on the Bachelor of Behavioural Studies (Psychology) and keep going, but I’ve actually made a decision.  I am going to put it aside for about six months, and instead complete a Certificate iv in Celebrancy.  This certificate is the training requirement to register and become a celebrant in Australia, just for something complete different!  Let’s see how I go.

Meanwhile it has been hard to push myself to write on my blog because I have basically been eating and eating junk food and chocolate for two weeks.  Not just back to some bad habits, but back to all of them with a crash.  Things at work are stressful, things at home are a little bit stressful, and to be honest I haven’t tried very hard.  In fact, each day I have known exactly what I was eating and doing, but I have eaten and done it anyway.  The result is a couple of extra kilograms back onto this body.

Rather than dwell on that, though, I am reminding myself that today is the 1st of June, the official first day of winter, and as good a day as any to start eating well again and fitting in some exercise.

  1. I had crash before too and it’s hard to stop once you re-taste the old habits. When our life don’t go the way we want it gets double hard to keep on track but the beautiful thing is that you can can have a fresh new start anytime you get out of track! :-)
Being a celebrant? Do you mean you will be able to marry people?

  2. I think one of the main reasons so many people are overweight today is due to the fact that we have so much going on in our lives, and restaurants and stores have made it very easy for us to just grab and go. Unfortunately the grab and go foods are very unhealthy for us. Losing weight these days really requires a change in lifestyle and a fight against our society. Very difficult indeed!
I have faith, though, that you can find a plan that works for you! Here’s to a new beginning! :)
