52 things in 52 weeks

Hello

From Monday 17 February 2014 to Monday 16 February 2014 I hope to keep track of this list and tell you how I’m going in this blog.

  1. Write 10 hand-written letters and post them
  2. Find a piano teacher and attend 6 lessons
  3. Knit or crochet 5 items for donation
  4. Organise and clean up sun room
  5. Dedicate 2 hours a week for 6 weeks to writing fiction
  6. Hang 2 pictures in the hallway
  7. Replace the rumpus room curtains
  8. Learn to quilt and make elephant quilt
  9. Sew a rag doll including outfit
  10. Sew a knitting bag for Mum
  11. Sew a knitting bag for Nanna
  12. Handmake decorations for family for Christmas 2014
  13. Volunteer at PAX 2014 in Tabletop Gaming area
  14. Have a whole week without social media 4 times
  15. Assemble & paint Puppet Wars miniatures
  16. Take part in 12 hour Painting Challenge
  17. Organise and clean up “junk” bedroom
  18. Save up and buy Dave an airbrush for his birthday
  19. Continue tracking all spending
  20. Read Gail Carriger “Parasol Protectorate” novels
  21. Read 5 books recommended to me by other people
  22. Organise and clean up “hobby” room
  23. Go through DVD collection for charity shop
  24. Knit a beanie and some mitts for Dave
  25. Sort all our clothes for keeping / charity / rubbish
  26. Track what I eat in My Fitness Pal or equivalent
  27. Deliberately exercise 3 times a week
  28. Lose 5 kilograms
  29. Lose another 5 kilograms (10 kg total)
  30. Lose another 5 kilograms (15 kg total)
  31. Lose another 5 kilograms (20 kg total)
  32. Lose another 5 kilograms (25 kg total)
  33. Lose another 5 kilograms (30 kg total)

  43. Tidy up front garden (roses, etc)
  44. Knit a pair of socks
  45. Write down one favourite thing about my day every night.
  46. Go to the Melbourne Museum
  47. Take on Treasurer role for WSWA gaming club
  48. Weigh myself every Monday morning
  49. Go an entire month without buying anything for craft/hobbies
  50. Be in bed by 10pm Sunday to Thursday
  51. Do not cave in and cut hair – trims only – grow grow grow!
  52. Get a kitty friend for Mr Biscuit?
